Michael Shapcott - Kickstarter Project

Micheal Shapcott
Today I decided that yes I was going to pledge and be a portrait pledger. When I first read this Kickstarter project I thought geez that would be really cool to be apart of, but I'm a student (and currently and exchange student living solely on scholarship) can a really afford the 125 pledge for a portrait or should I just pledge the 5? But today I decided that I am going to take the leap of faith and be a portrait pledger or 125 because I want to support this artist because one day I hope that I am an artist brave enough as he to but myself out there on Kickstarter to fund a project that I believe in. I am not sure where I first read about his Kickstarter Project but it was Prïsma Artist Collective Blog that brought me back to his page and ultimately my eventual decision. I started following the Prïsma blog because I had been researching current Australian Artists and I really like the work of Bec Winnel and when she joined this group I found all these other amazing artists from around the world such as the likes of Ruben Ireland and Tom Bagshaw from England, Kaspian Shore from Germany and Micheal Shapcott from the US. I was proud to see that there are four Australians in this brilliant collective!
I am excited to see what happens next I wonder what number I am and how he will go about the portrait (references/or other information) I'll keep you all posted...
