Bergamo il Parco Faunistico

This past Sunday I went to the Zoo! Yes I was like a child all morning so excited to visit my first Italian Zoo! These are my two favourite photo's that I took with my poor old and broken camera. I am considering getting a new camera but I am not sure if I want to spend my travelling money on a new camera or if I can get on with the camera I have. I mean I can take good enough photographs with the camera I have as long as I don't need to use too much zoom.
These guys were at the entrance to the zoo and they seemed to like performing for us tourist and were still playing as we were leaving.

I love birds they are just so beautiful with their colourful feathers.

At the moment I am trying to learn Illustrator for my Game Design and Type Design courses and I am slowly and somewhat painfully learning to use it through some online tutorials. I find that my biggest problems are that I keep using short keys from photoshop and they do different functions and it gets a little frustrating trying to figure out how to something that I could do in seconds in PS.

For Type Design we had to create a business card an this is what I came up with.

The requirements for the task was clarity and importance of order. I hope that this is what I have achieved with this design. The lecturer also said that we should stick to around two or so colours. I chose green earthy colours because I prefer these colours best.

For my Game Design class I am working on "levelling up" my skills in Illustrator and so this is my work in progress of a castle for our medieval inspired game based on the proverb "People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones."
